In the past few years the community has put forth millions of dollars to their cities schools, creating more buildings and converting them into more modernized, spacious facilities to benefit both students and faculty. Besides Palomar College, San Marcos is also home to California State San Marcos, which is another branch of the CSU system. Both colleges offer an array of courses and have been the home to many future career seekers.
